Your guide will meet you as you disembark from your cruise ship at Aqaba Port. After a brief introduction, begin your short drive into the heart of Aqaba city.

08:15 AM – Panoramic Drive Through Aqaba

Enjoy a guided drive through the city’s modern streets and traditional quarters. Learn about Aqaba’s role in trade and history as your guide explains the blend of cultures, old souks, and its status as a free economic zone.

08:45 AM – Visit Aqaba Fortress (Mamluk Castle)

Stop at the historic Aqaba Castle, originally built by the Crusaders and later fortified by the Mamluks. This site was famously recaptured during the Great Arab Revolt, led by T.E. Lawrence. Walk through its ancient walls and enjoy views of the nearby plaza and beach.

09:15 AM – Great Arab Revolt Plaza & Flagpole

Continue to the nearby Great Arab Revolt Plaza, home to one of the tallest flagpoles in the world and a symbol of Jordanian independence. Take photos and learn the significance of this landmark in Jordan's modern history.

09:45 AM – Visit Sharif Hussein Bin Ali Mosque

This white-domed mosque, named after the leader of the Arab Revolt, is one of the most iconic landmarks in Aqaba. Admire its elegant design and peaceful surroundings (modest dress required for entrance).

10:15 AM – Souk Walk & Local Shopping (Optional)

If you’re interested, take a stroll through the traditional souks of Aqaba, where you can find handmade jewelry, spices, textiles, and souvenirs. Your guide can help with bargaining tips and show you where locals shop.

11:00 AM – Red Sea Beach Club or Resort

Transfer to a private beach resort or club (such as Berenice Beach Club or Tala Bay Resort, based on availability). You’ll have access to:

• Sandy beach and swimming area
• Sun loungers and umbrellas
• Fresh water showers and changing facilities
• Food and drink outlets

Optional snorkeling or glass-bottom boat ride (add-ons)

11:30 AM – Free Time at the Beach

Relax, swim, snorkel, or simply enjoy a drink by the sea. Aqaba’s waters are calm and crystal-clear, home to coral reefs and colorful marine life. All necessary gear can be rented onsite.

01:30 PM – Return Transfer to Cruise Port

After a refreshing and relaxed visit, it’s time to head back. Your guide and driver will escort you safely to the port.

02:00 PM – Arrival at Aqaba Port

Return to your cruise ship in plenty of time, with memories of culture and coast combined.
