08:00 AM – Meet & Greet at Aqaba Port

Tango Travel’s representative will welcome you as you disembark your cruise ship at Aqaba Port. After a quick briefing, board your private vehicle for the journey to Wadi Rum.

08:15 AM – Depart for Wadi Rum (Approx. 1.25 hours)

Relax and enjoy the drive through southern Jordan’s dramatic desert landscapes. Your guide will share insights about Wadi Rum’s geography, history, and its connection to films like Lawrence of Arabia and The Martian.

09:30 AM – Arrival at Wadi Rum Visitor Center

Enter the Wadi Rum protected area and switch to a rugged 4x4 Jeep driven by a local Bedouin guide. Your safari begins!

09:45 AM – Visit Lawrence’s Spring

Your first stop is a natural spring named after T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia), who famously passed through this area. Climb a short distance to enjoy views of the valley and spot ancient inscriptions on the rocks.

10:15 AM – Sand Dunes & Khazali Canyon

Continue to the massive red sand dunes, where you can climb and feel the soft, warm sands beneath your feet. Then, explore Khazali Canyon, a narrow gorge filled with ancient petroglyphs and Thamudic inscriptions carved into the canyon walls.

11:00 AM – Um Frouth Rock Bridge

Next, stop at Um Frouth, a natural rock bridge that arches above the desert. For the adventurous, a short scramble to the top offers incredible photo ops and a panoramic desert view.

11:45 AM – Bedouin Tent Experience

Your journey continues to a traditional Bedouin camp, where you’ll relax with a warm cup of herbal Bedouin tea and learn about the nomadic lifestyle, local legends, and desert survival techniques.

12:30 PM – Return to Visitor Center & Depart Wadi Rum

After soaking in the desert's timeless beauty, return to the visitor center and rejoin your driver for the return journey to Aqaba.

01:45 PM – Return to Aqaba Port

Arrive at your cruise ship with plenty of time before departure, full of unforgettable memories and stunning desert photographs.
